SCHEUERLE Shipyard Transporters are the market share
leader in shipyard transportation. Capable of transporting loads up
to 1,200 tons as a single unit and much heavier loads when used in
combination, there is no doubt that SCHEUERLE is atop of this industry.
Coupled vehicles are controlled and moved simultaneously by using
SCHEUERLE’s electronic steering system called SADESS. Several
steering programs are available to allow for any steering angle
within a 360° circle to be attained. This electronic steering
system provides excellent maneuverability and driving precision
for single and coupled vehicles, with open compound distances of
up to 999 meters between transporters.
In-house developments like traction control which prevents single
wheels from spinning and an electronic display of the balance point
and load, Center of Gravity (COG) are other components of SCHEUERLE’s
sophisticated vehicle design.
